Frankly, this was too much. He considered himself to be patient and he fought to be empathetic with even the tiniest of needs of his kingdom no matter how tired he felt. But this was not part of his duties.

Whether Hux saw it coming or not, Aragorn lifted his hand off of Andúril and instead punched the Man straight in the jaw.

Then he called for guards to take Hux to his "quarters", which happened to be a prison cell. Impudence was one matter, but this Man had an attitude he had only encountered in Mordor or from the Orcs that had once covered his lands.
